Product Description
Composite ceramic steel pipe is a new type of composite material manufactured by the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method (SHS). It uses the aluminothermic reaction to exothermicly melt the reactants, separating Al2O3 and Fe under centrifugal force. The tube consists of a dense corundum ceramic (AL2O3) inner layer, a transition layer, and an outer steel pipe layer, forming a firm metallurgical bond at temperatures above 2000 ℃.
Key Features:
It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high strength, and toughness. It has strong resistance to mechanical and thermal shock and supports processing such as turning, grinding, and welding.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
🔹 What is the temperature range for composite ceramic pipes?
The pipes can operate normally within a temperature range of -50 °C to 900 °C.
🔹 Can these pipes be welded?
Yes, the composite pipes support turning, grinding, and welding for convenient installation.
🔹 How does the wear resistance compare to steel pipes?
The corundum ceramic layer provides significantly higher wear resistance, often lasting several times longer than standard wear-resistant steel.
🔹 Are custom sizes and shapes available?
Yes, we support customization for various diameters, wall thicknesses, and shapes like elbows and tees.
🔹 Is the ceramic lining resistant to chemicals?
The ceramic lining is non-toxic and chemically inert, making it highly resistant to most industrial chemicals and corrosion.
🔹 Why is the project cost lower with these pipes?
Due to their lightweight nature and longer service life, they reduce handling, support, and maintenance investment.
